  1. well…u are. U were a stunning baby and a beautiful child. U grew into a beautiful woman…But I know what u are saying. During my high school years when things were especially ugly at home..I felt so ugly..I couldnt look boys in the eyes. I felt about myself whatever I experienced at home. I felt shameful, ugly, pitiful, discusting.
Years later I have had people tell me that I was pretty in high school.

  2. like ur mother ..mine was also a beautiful young woman. That beauty became the only identity she knows and has used to get noticed. Now…in her mid seventies..she STILL wants to do cosmetic surgery to try and bring back her old self. She was so hollow.

Ur mother was a beautiful woman. One thing u did get from her is your good looks.

    • oh thank you, but seldom think of myself with good looks ’cause i can see my inner self in mirror far more than outer self — not that inner isn’t ‘pretty’, just doesn’t register as a physical being with ‘looks’ !!

  3. Could be Strabismus which can be intermittent. Although my background is not ophthalmology, my husband is one and I guess I notice eye irregularities (probably obtain the knowledge by osmosis! lol!)

  4. Did your mother have asymmetrical eyes? Looks like her left eye is not totally straight. I noticed this on the picture of her washing her face in a basin outside your home.
